History
El Mirador, located in Loja (Granada), is the origin of Abades Hoteles. With its opening in the early 1960s, it set a constant that would become a hallmark of the brand: innovation and continuous adaptation to the needs of its clients. For example, El Mirador was the first hotel in the province of Granada to feature a bathroom integrated into the guest room.
However, 1991 would prove to be a crucial year in the history of Grupo Abades. Following the construction of the A92 highway, which serves as a central axis for Andalusia, the company decided to open Abades Loja. In line with its tradition of innovation, this establishment not only offered a magnificent hotel but also included a service area where travelers could find everything they might need, a multidisciplinary space that, due to its features, became a reference point in southern Spain.
In the following years, Abades Loja was joined by a comprehensive network of hotels across Andalusia. The Abades Vía Norte hotel in Miranda de Ebro, Burgos, also became part of the group, extending the network beyond Andalusia.
In 2021, Hotel El Mirador reopened its doors, completely transformed into a beautiful 4-star hotel and spa.
Today, Abades Hoteles has establishments in the province of Granada, El Mirador, Abades Loja, Abades Manzanil, Abades Nevada Palace, and Abades Guadix, Abades Benacazón in Seville, and Abades Vía Norte in Burgos.
These hotels also offer an added value: their excellent locations.
